The Wellesly Whalers (Amazon)

The Wellesly Whalers (Amazon)

Amazons, the most busted (heh) and lazy team in all of Blood Bowl. Roster is boring, but has a 59% win percentage at low TV. This is by far the highest of all standard rosters. Amazons are the best team verse every non dwarf roster. As the TV starts to elevate they begin to get crushed. The perfect rock, paper, scissors team...

This team is all GW miniatures, fairly nice. They did get LAZY with the Blitzer (two spikes instead of three? Really? I'm not paying for that!). Still working on a 4 blitzer and 2 more linewomen. But you get the point. Love how they turned out.

The Forrest Hills Fright Knights (vampire)

The Forrest Hills Fright Knights,

This is another team I touched up. It didn't come out exactly how I would like, but still a respectable paint job to field on the pitch. I like the thralls in particular, great Games Workshop models.
The Forrest Hills Fright Knights

The worst positional in the game? Perhaps.

Taste like chicken.

Dr. Acula

Her eyes washed out.... have to fix that.

Back when you had the Vampire Lord.

I dont play Vampires often, but they are a fun team. At mid TV min/maxed Vampire team can be very effective. 3-4 skilled vamps, and wrestle/fend thralls and you are in good shape. Bash teams cant cage effectively and passing teams get Gazed and annoyed. I like to score early with Vamps and play defense. It quickly becomes a numbers games with you charting your own thralls. Better to get that score in early.

The Boston Bruisers (Orc)

Orcs, one of the original Blood Bowl teams. A great team to learn on and fun to play. Sometimes I buy teams off the black market (ebay, Craigs List, Roberto's trunk) and add to (FIX!) the paint jobs. Its easier than doing all the base coats yourself! This is one of those teams, and they came out great. It allows you to pay more attention to detail.

The Dudley Chainsaw Massacre (Goblin)

The Dudley Chainsaw Massacre

Ah goblins, one of my favorite teams. Every now and again, when I realize I'm taking the game too seriously, I love to bust out a low TV Goblin team and wreak havoc on other coaches. There is nothing quite like when a goblin team is 'firing' on all cylinders. You can DESTROY an entire team in 4 turns.Sometimes you are destroying your OWN team, but that's the fun of t, right?

Surprisingly nimble.

Hey Ref, you aint seen nothing!

Da Troll

Da other Troll... working on an old GW one to replace this fat git.

The Dudley Chainsaw Massacre

Again, a tier 3 team.... But still extremely fun to play. On the flipside, there is nothing more embarrassing then losing to a goblin team... well maybe to halflings.

The Westside Werewolves (Necromantic)

The Westside Werewolves, one of the older teams I painted. Lots of conversions and not my best work. I still like the team a lot. Obviously, the Flesh Golem models are my favorite. One looks a lot like me in my younger days.
Wolves, love to play fetch. WIlly Miniatures.

Is that a baby? I love babies.

Squishy Ghouls.

The West Side Werewolves

Necromantic teams are top tier in BB. I have always struggled with them for some odd reason. Werewolves are great, but only really become stars with a DOUBLE on your skill roll. Mighty Blow makes their Claws deadly. Flesh Golem are slow to skill, but fantastic players. The access to General skills makes up for the ST4. Zombies with Block/Fend make for great line fodder.

I hate Ghouls.

The Entombed (Khemri)

From the deepest depths of Khemri come The Entombed. All lineman, and throwers converted from GWs Khemri line of miniatures. Mummies and Blitz-ras by Willy Miniatures.

THE ENTOMBED
Overall I am happy with how the team turned out. Painting gold is always fun. I did 'dip' the Tomb Guardians, and the dip was rather sticky. Probably ruined what would have been a great pant job. Always make sure your dip is the right consistency prior to raw dogging your whole team.

Khemri are a great early to mid tv team. They can be really frustrating to play and require GREAT cage discipline. Sometimes its better to not score, then try and force something that leads to a turnover. You are a great defensive team. Any team that can simply lose a match do to weather (heavy rain) are not tier one.
